Good humour. This movie is even better than Date Night.

Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson put together...it's a wonderful team. You can see the chemistry between them. Seriously! I have nothing more to say (no critics).

Since the beginning, I took a stand and chose Jessica/鈕祜祿伊蘭/孝全皇后's side.

Generally speaking, I liked the serie, but still have something to complain about:
    - Elena/劉佳馥韻/信太妃 does not have enough screen time. Look, she's not even on the poster.
    - Myolie/佟佳沅宛/孝慎皇后's acting got better, but still yaaaark. Always so childish and 囧.
    - Sunny/愛新覺羅旻寧/道光帝's acting is soo exaggerated. Pfff! Not a surprise.
    - Nancy/博爾濟吉特静瑜's so cheeeeap.
    - Jessica/鈕祜祿伊蘭/孝全皇后's make up is way too heavy for her.

Han Zimmer Sountracks

Within the same theme as the last post...

A lot of Han Zimmer's majestic works have been intentionally or unintentionally copied by others...uncluding himself. O_O

Have you ever noticed that Pirates of the Caribbean's soundtrack is a clear copy of his own Braveheart soundtrack?

Lack of originality and copy himself??? That's a little shameful, don't you think?

THE ultimate proposal.

The man is hansome and has a sweet mouth, the house is beautiful, it all came smoothly, and...anyway, everything is puuuurfect.

It is a little unrealistic (no man on this earth would do that), but still wish to find one for myself. Siiigh!!!! At the meanwhile, the only thing I can do is to be patient and enjoy every moment I have with myself.

Final Destination 2

Ali Larter aka Clear Rivers, the sole survivor in the original Final Destination...I have a strange desire and hope to see how she can be the only person who can cheat/escape the plan/design of death. Wouldn't it be even more interesting and mind-playing??? Who can predict that she'd get killed by...

...a blow-up in a hospital while trying to save someone. O-M-G. Seriously!?!

Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life

Some women could have the chance of being happy with a good and sweet man, but instead, they (even 'heroines') would rather choose otherwise.

This is the best version I could find. Siiigh!!!

He fought for her and while he was taking care of her...she stabbed him. How dare she??? *angry* Such a waste. If you don't want him, you could've said so and I'll be grateful to take him...no need to kill him.

Yah! A gangster housewife. Cannot believe the way it happened...so tragic.

The Cave VS Sanctum

VS

Sanctum is clearly a copy or a movie based on The Cave. Pfff!!! The first one was original, but the second one was long and painful (it became redundant)...nearly fell asleep during the presentation (no need to mention that 3D was a complete waste of money).

劍雨

Last year, when I went to HK, I was suppose to have seen it there, but didn't find the time to. Now, it is a big regret within my heart.

The storyline is not exceptionally special (although there is an interesting twist towards the end), but the love story is heart warming (made me shed tears). I find it cute to rely on faith and destiny.

I would like to highlight the great job done by fight scenes/martial art choreographers, special effects team, costume and makeup (particularly love Michelle's look)...well done!!!

Don't know why the last scene ain't in the compilation. Huh! It prolly means you have to watch the movie if you want to see the final breathtaking battle and see how the relationship ends.

On a final note, I want to point out that the theme song is cute too.

FYI/complaint: Michelle is getting prettier in time and she clearly haven't lost her talent at all. The mystery is...how can Zhang Ziyi win the 'Lancia Elegance and Temperament' Award at Rome, but not Michelle? This is so unfair.

FYI/complaint 2: The cast was somehow well chosen...a combination of HK artists along with Mainland artists. But, why do they have to dubbed Michelle's voice instead of keeping her original voice?

Farmhouse

The general idea of this movie is stupid (with some good scenes, but not enough) + Kelly's character had to die stupidly. Whyyyy AGAIN?

You don't see the way she gets killed in that video, but I can assure you that despite her originality in killing people...her way of dying is quite ridiculous.

007 - GoldenEye

One of the well-known villains in 007 is Xenia Onatopp (played by Famke Janssen)...reputed to be cruel and has no mercy for her opponent. Who can ever believe on the way she's gonna die?

See? How can she possibly get killed by a tree? Impossible.

Siiiigh!!! No matter how incredible you are...(based on the general rule) if you're the evil one, you have to die. It is a classic scipt, but can't there be an exception for once?

The Ugly Truth

Unlike the title, the movie is not ugly at all...with Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl. Mmm-Hmmm! Smart. Juicy. Intelligent. A beautifully made love comedy.

This scene in the restaurant is priceless.

妙手仁心 III

Henry and Sarah~ Who would believe a pair that cute can't be together? I'm so disappointed, but life ain't perfect, right?

Note: Watch the serie and you'll discover that Grey's Anatomy is quite similar.

Vampire Diaries - Pearl

Why am I so frustrated? I decided to start watching Vampire Diaries, because Kelly Hu's in it. But, what I couldn't have known is the fact that she appears in the first season and also gone in the first. TSSSK.

As you can see, towards the end of the clip, she literally got a wooden stake through her heart the moment she opens the front door. *steam coming out of my head* How can an old and utterly powerful vampire like her die without fighting??? That's so laaame.

They better find a way to bring her back to wash out my disappointment.

Crazy, Stupid, Love.

They are soulmates since 15 years-old...started with a mint-chocolatechip ice-cream. Awww!!! How adorable!?!  I like ice-cream toooo. And, in some ways, I find them (Steve and Julianne) cute as a couple. They have a kind of chemistry. *sparks*

Beside sweet moments, you will also be able to see fashionable clothes. Julianne Moore, stunning as always and Steve Carell changing his style. If you are in need of inspiration for a new wardrobe, you may consult this movie.

Note: The best scene is the parent-teacher meeting...and in the garden (take a good look at Julianne's shoes in that scene). I'm not going to say more to spoil the movie, just in case you haven't seen it yet.

Note 2: Seriously?!? I really wouldn't mind having a boring husband as long as I know he still loves me...maybe because I'm a boring person. Ha!

Devil Wears Prada

In this movie, there are a lot to see...a lot of fashionable clothes, purses, shoes, and cellphones. Those goodies are suitable for more mature women like Meryl Streep to younger women like Anne Hathaway.

This one being my favorite. ^_^ All black with a simple gold necklace.

Shanghai Kiss

You know how certain pleople have such bad taste and choose the wrong guy or girl? Well, it often happens in movies too...like Shanghai Kiss. If you have the intention to watch this movie and don't want a spoiler, I suggest you to stop here and not read the rest.

Air Force One

The man is handsome and has an active brain, but since he's a villain he has to die. And the way he died was so ridiculous...by a parachute. Can you believe it? It is such a waste and unfair.

I felt bad for Ivan, but it is sort of acceptable since he was killed while fighting with the President (Harrison Ford).  It is unbelievable what a president can do...in a movie. In real life, they would be dead after maximum 5 minutes. Why can't we find someone this amazing around us???

Beauty & the Beast VS Beastly

Everyone's talking about being green. With this concept and people in lack of ideas...we recycle ideas too.

One of Disney's classic, Beauty and the Beast.

This year's new movie, Beastly.

Two similar storylines...it's hard for me not to think of plagiarism. Anyway, let me tell you that copies will never be better than the original. We love Beauty and the Beast way more than this modern copy.

Note: Alex Pettyfer is a good looking man. I sort of like him a lot with those "tattoos" and scars on the face. So, if I were the girl, I won't despise him either. Fail.

The Proposal

This movie is just a briiiiilliant work of art. Those of you who haven't seen it yet...SHAME ON YOU! You are missing out on something fantastic, which you will regret.

An untraditional proposal. A gorgeous woman kneeling in front of a man to ask him to marry her. Siiigh! How can he resist and keep this attitude towards her? I can't understand. Check the scene out and I promise that you'll love it sincerely from the bottom of your heart.

Another aspect worth to take note is the fashion WOW. Have you noticed the Hermès (her very own) and Prada handbag and Louis Vuitton luggages? Oh! And those remarkable Christian Louboutin heels (in the picture below). In other words, I just utterly love everything she possessed.

The phone which never leaves her hand, at first I thought it was a white blackberry, but turns out it's a Nokia E71. Added it to my to buy list. XD

Note: From the main cast to the sub-cast and to the dog...it was just PUUURfect. Have you seen the chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock? *smack*

Premiere: Pilot - SCREAM

YES! You're right. Our first post is a matching episode to our theme - SCREAM.

There are lots to say about this legendary horror saga...

1- The movie poster is getting better and better.

2- The storyline is never boring. I loved the plot of 2 and 4 the most. It's just terrifying. Wes Craven earned my two thumbs up.

3- Heart the main cast. Who can possibly portray the main characters better than Neve Campbell (getting more beautiful each time), David Arquette and Courteney Cox? The choice is splendid.

4- One of the sweetest way to propose is to hide the ring in a book written by herself and ask her to sign it. Bam! The moment she opens the book...SURPRISE!!!

5- How can I not guess who the killer is in each of the movies? The word killer's written on their forehead...they are so freaky.

Afterall, it is a great serial horror movie.
